Applications have opened for the Transform Trade Programme. This support programme was published in the Ordinance no. 1/2023The aim is to modernise and upgrade the retail establishments located in the municipalities of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park (PNSE), particularly affected by the rural fires of 2022.
The Transforming Trade Programme has a budget of €2M and a funding rate of 80%, with a maximum value of 7500 per companyThis support is aimed at retail establishments in the following areas: Celorico da Beira, Covilhã, Gouveia, Guarda, Manteigas and Seia.
Objectives of the Support Trade Programme
The main objectives of this trade support programme are as follows:
- encourage the development of commercial projects that boost the digitalisation of territories and manage to ensure a more sustainable framework for commercial activity and the generation of value, as well as offering immediate responses to consumer needs and responding to the growing trend towards the dematerialisation of the purchasing process;
- to support projects based on sustainable development models based on creativity and innovation, and which combine material and immaterial anchor elements of a distinctive nature, by boosting and mobilising collective action to promote endogenous products, reinforcing the specialisation and commercial attractiveness of the territories.
