Applications are now open for measure 3.2.2 - Small Investments in Agricultural Holdings. The aim of this measure is to

OPERATION OBJECTIVE
Improving living, working and production conditions, with an impact on the performance of agricultural holdings, by making small-scale material investments, of a one-off nature and not included in investment plans, which, due to the low amounts involved, do not require in-depth analysis, justifying a simplified application process.

TYPE OF SUPPORT
Support is granted in the form of non-repayable grants.

BENEFICIARIES
Individuals or legal persons engaged in agricultural activity.

ELIGIBLE EXPENDITURE
Eligible expenses are those associated with small tangible physical investments necessary for the development of agricultural productive activity, namely machinery, equipment, small agricultural and livestock buildings, small multi-annual plantations, including support for burglary prevention equipment.
In particular, second-hand equipment; the purchase of agricultural production rights, payment entitlements, animals and annual plants and their planting and replacement equipment are not eligible.

CONDITIONS OF ACCESS (Beneficiary)
Hold accounts under the terms of the legislation in force;
Have a turnover equal to or less than 50,000 euros and have received direct payments equal to or less than 5,000 euros.

CONDITIONS OF ACCESS (Projects)
Present technical, economic and financial coherence to be evaluated in the analysis model;
Investment amount equal to or less than ¤40,000.

LEVELS AND RATES OF SUPPORT
Support is granted for an investment amount of up to 40,000 euros, in the form of non-refundable subsidies:

- 50% of eligible investment if the holding is situated in a less developed region or an area facing natural or other specific constraints;
- 40% of eligible investment in other regions

The amount of support is limited to €25,000 per beneficiary.

The application period ends on 23 March 2018 (5pm).
