This Incentive Scheme aims to support companies that wish to establish, reinforce or revert their production capacities of goods and services to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, including the construction and modernisation of test and trial facilities of the relevant products to face COVID-19, to supply the needs of today's society, redirecting, even temporarily, their activity to such production or leveraging their existing productive capacity in relevant goods and services of COVID-19.

BENEFICIARIES

SMEs and large companies of any nature and under any legal form.

MAIN ELIGIBLE EXPENDITURE

a) Acquisition costs of machinery and equipment,;
b) Costs of purchasing IT equipment;
c) Licences, know-how or unpatented technical knowledge;
e) Cost of construction of buildings, remodelling works and other constructions;
f) Standard software or software specifically developed for a particular purpose;
g) Studies, diagnoses, audits, technical and scientific consultancy, marketing plans and
architecture and engineering;
h) Laboratory tests and trials and necessary raw materials.

RATE OF FUNDING AND FORM OF SUPPORT

The support is given in the form of a non-repayable grant.
The incentive rate to be granted is 80%, which may be increased by 15 p.p. if the project is concluded within 2 months as of the date of notification of the decision.
