- Promoting direct contact between producers and consumers, contributing to the flow of local produce, the preservation of local products and specialists, the reduction of food waste, improving diets through access to seasonal, fresh and quality products, as well as fostering trust between producers and consumers;
- Encouraging less intensive and environmentally sustainable cultivation practices, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by reducing the costs of storing, refrigerating and transporting products to distribution centres.
